Software developer and the creator of DeepTalk

I'm a full-stack software developer with more than 15 years of experience building web and mobile products. DeepTalk is my own project: I designed it, built it, and wrote its questions.

Why I built DeepTalk

It started with two small problems. When friends came over or we threw a party, we'd run out of things to do once the small talk dried up. And when I started dating someone new, I didn't know how to really get to know each other past the usual questions while still keeping it fun.

I looked for a good question app for both situations and didn't find one I liked, so I built my own. DeepTalk launched on the App Store in August 2025 and now has 20 decks and more than 2,400 questions, for couples, friends, and parties.

How the questions are written

Every question in DeepTalk and on this site is written or edited by me. New questions get tried out with friends and family first, and I keep adjusting the decks based on feedback from people who use the app.

The question pages on this site go through an extra check before they go live: duplicates and near-duplicates are removed, both within a page and across pages, so each list stays worth reading to the end.

I'm not a therapist or a relationship coach. DeepTalk is a conversation game, not therapy or professional advice.
